About

Swati Agarwal

Clinical Psychologist (RCI)

I'm Swati, a Clinical Psychologist with over 7 years of experience working across hospital and private practice settings. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work with people across different stages of life and with a wide range of psychological concerns.

My work has included psychological assessment and therapy for concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, relationship difficulties, parenting challenges, workplace stress, and other mental health concerns. I also have experience conducting comprehensive psychological assessments in complex clinical presentations, including conditions such as schizophrenia.

I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative, evidence-based, and grounded in an understanding of the person beyond their symptoms. My approach is integrative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while incorporating a trauma-informed lens into my work.

Rather than approaching therapy with a one-size-fits-all framework, I work with each person to understand their unique experiences, patterns, strengths, and goals. My aim is to create a space where you can slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing, develop practical skills, and build meaningful and sustainable change.

At the heart of my work is the belief that psychological support is not simply about fixing what is wrong, but about developing a deeper understanding of yourself and learning ways to navigate life with greater clarity, flexibility, and self-compassion.

My Approach

What working with me looks like

Therapy works best when it's grounded in evidence, tailored to you specifically, and focused on real, usable change — not just an hour of talking with no direction. Here's what that looks like in practice.

Evidence-based

Grounded in CBT, DBT, ACT, and a trauma-informed lens — established approaches with research behind them, not generic advice.

Practical, not just insight

You'll leave sessions with concrete skills and strategies you can actually use that week, not just things to think about.

Confidential & judgment-free

A space to be honest about what's actually going on, without needing to have it figured out or explained perfectly first.

Collaborative, not prescriptive

You're the expert on your own life. I bring the clinical framework; together we figure out what actually fits.

Personalized, session to session

No fixed script or template. What we work on and how adapts as you change — therapy shaped around you, not a program you're slotted into.

Focused on real progress

We revisit what's working and what isn't, so therapy keeps moving rather than becoming an open-ended weekly habit.

What to expect if you reach out
1

Initial session

We talk through what's bringing you in and what you're hoping will change.

2

A tailored plan

I'll suggest an approach based on what you've shared — not a fixed, one-size-fits-all program.

3

Ongoing sessions & check-ins

We track what's actually shifting, and adjust the approach as needed along the way.
